Produce

Local, Seasonality, and Sustainability
Our produce department’s goal is to offer a diversity of fresh food while focusing on locality, seasonality, and sustainability. Whether certified organic or not, we will never buy produce that is genetically modified or treated with chemical fertilizers or pesticides. We believe that healthy, high quality produce should be accessible to everyone and we strive to offer the best prices in town on organic, naturally grown produce.
Our hero is the local farmer and we highlight their hard work and beautiful produce any way we can - by offering fair prices, facilitating the buying process, and giving them due credit. You can meet your local farmers on Member/Owner Appreciation sale days or read about them on our biography board in the produce department any time you visit!
