Part of Main Market Co-op’s ‘Learn with Us’ educational programs, Mixin’ it Up! brings us into the kitchen with each new season. In partnership with the Inland NW Culinary Academy, these quarterly chef demos offer ideas and information to help choose and enjoy the best foods that relate to the time of year, and where to find them.
Our classes feature local professional chefs, who share their favorite ways to eat in season. The demonstrations highlight local ingredients, and cooking techniques that help you succeed in your home kitchens. Special guests and topics will include authors, chefs, food for and by youth, farmer/rancher/fisher visits, food preservation and more!

Chef Curtis, past Executive Chef at Coeur d'Alene Resort's Beverly's restaurant, helps attendees learn how to use Spring's first gifts throughout a menu - herbs, herbs, herbs - from snack to sin - Apps, entree and dessert!
